Can you give any secrets about your new single 'Red Hoodie' which is bet to be released later this year?

I started working on Red Hoodie at the very start of the year. I had been inspired by a song called Silk by Wolf Alice which had a verse featuring male and female vocals. It was a small part of the song, but it gave me the idea to make a song where I sing a verse which repeats, with female vocals on top. The rest of the song sort of came together from there

How does music make you feel/ has it ever bee your therapy?

For me, Music has always helped describe the way you live your life. It can be a soundtrack for all the emotions and feelings you experience. I like that you can have a song to go to, which you feel can describe your situation or who you are as a person. I’ve always tried to capture that in my music.

What's the music scene like in Birmingham?

The Music scene in Birmingham is one of the best there is in my opinion. Not only the musicians but the venues, promoters and audience’s all help make Birmingham’s music scene more lively. We are one of many bands who have achieved great things and I look forward to seeing a lot of the other great Birmingham bands perform in the future.

What's been your best  music experience?

I’m sure the whole band would agree with me on this, but it would have to be the fan base we have gained in South Korea. To see a large group of people showing their love for our music from the other side of the planet, is not something a small indie band get to experience very often! It’s one of those things that really stand out for someone’s music career and considering we’re still finding our feet, it’s pretty crazy to have this sort of attention.

Who / What is your biggest inspiration as a band?

For me, it would mostly come down to bands like Catfish and the Bottlemen, The Amazon’s, Kasabian etc. However it can also vary into bands from other genres like twenty one pilots! In the end we’ll always be an indie rock band and those bands above have definitely helped us shape into that
