Where do you get your inspiration from?
I try to take inspiration from anywhere that I can find it. I generally pull a lot from personal experience but I'm also a very inquisitive person when it comes to the way the world and people work so I also take a lot of inspiration from those inner thoughts and questions I feel we are all trying to answer. I'm a bit of a movie nerd too so if something sticks with me from a good film it's hard to not be inspired by that even it's just one line or two in a song. I guess a simple answer is; nothing's off limits.

What does music mean to you?
Music to me, as cliche as it sounds, is everything. There are many things in life that I feel give me purpose but music has been the constant for the longest period of my life now. I think most people with an affinity for music feel this way, it becomes their life, well and truly a part of their souls. That's definitely what it is for me!

What was your experience of playing Mayday?
I had an amazing experience performing at mayday! It was an incredibly receptive crowd and the whole day, the global village stage especially, had a magnificent line up, a true testament to the talent in the town and the great community spirit we have here. Also, on a personal level, it was brilliant to return, it's the second time I've been at mayday, previously with the band sleepless wild so it was truly an honour to be invited again.
Has music ever been your therapy / how does music make you feel?
Most definitely! Music is massively therapeutic for me. Whether it's creating or simply just listening, I really do believe music to be the healing component. It has such power over us, to take us to completely different places, which I think, mentally, we need sometimes.
Do you think there is a big enough rap scene in Ipswich?
Yes and no! There's a plethora of great talent in the Ipswich hip hop community alone. That I can't knock! The amount of people out there doing their thing and supporting the scene is just incredible, leaps and bounds from what I've ever known. But! That said, I think it needs to be taken to the next level in terms of looking at new venues to take the shows to and other towns and cities to take our people to. We've gotta spread that message that the Ipswich rap scene is legit stock piled with the dopest artists right now.
