What were your emotions surrounding the release of 'Sylvia'?
It feels great to finally put Sylvia out there seen as it was the first song we ever wrote like 2/3 years ago! I think the main thing with this song was that we could never get the assembly of it right and even after re writing it like 5/6 times, we only felt like it was finally finished after getting in the studio with Craig from RML studios who added that final bit of magic to it.
What makes music so important to you and why?
I think it’s because we’ve all grown up surrounded by all these bands that our parents liked which was in a time where music had more feel and emotion to it. I think it meant a whole lot more to people back then which is why it means so much to us now because we grew up with parents telling us there experiences at gigs and giving us a new album every week to listen to of one of their favorites back in the day. I remember my dad showing ‘who’s next’ by The Who and thinking this is what it’s all about.
What is it like to have the support of This feeling?
Pretty cool really, I mean we’ve only just started playing gigs with them but you can tell that it’s a whole new level with kind of bands on there. Like you can’t afford to play a ropey gig with them. This Feeling really push you too which is class because you don’t get that kind of support or opportunity from most promoters.
Name your top 5 influences?
I think we all like a variety different bands but I’d say that; The Stone Roses, Jaws, Joy Division, Oasis and the Cure are our most influential bands.
How does music make you feel and has it ever been your therapy?
I don’t really go a day without listening to music and I wouldn’t say I’ve ever used it as therapy but it certainly helps you get through a bad day! I think the music that makes you feel the most doesn’t even have to have to most meaning lyrically if you get me? Like Champagne Supernova by Oasis isn’t particularly about anything but that tune supplies more feeling that and emotion that most.

How does it feel to have your tracks played on BBC introducing West Midlands?
Having our songs on BBC introducing is always going to pretty cool and surreal. It’s nice that they’re being noticed especially by a radio channel of that level. It’s just a bit of a shame that there’s not that many people who listen to radio anymore compared to what there was!
