How did you get into Grime/ DJ'ing ?

I’ve always been around music since I was young, but my dad moved house and got a studio set up outside, 'Golden Delicious studios', this is where I started playing around with Ableton making sort of tech housey tunes. This was when I was around 15. I got kicked out of one school and moved to another and met Whispy Ray. He had bars and beats and I had a studio so we got on bits.

How did indigo frequency start?

From when we were doing bits as Whispy & Sloth we decided we was gonna start a group. Through our lifestyles, experience and shit that happened Indigo came about to us; stemming from our feel as indigo children. A long night filled with talks with a close mate of ours ,then turned it to Indigo Frequency ....That’s what we wanna emmitt in and out of music.

Who is your biggest inspiration?

As to inspiration, musical artists I love and listen, to range from; old skool tech house legends such as: Evil Eddie Richards, Mr. C, Bushwhacka to new school ones such as my fam Dutchie to Jimi, Zeppelin, J J Cale, Floyd.

How does music make you feel has music ever been your therapy?

A lot of people think I grew up / listening to hip hop / rap but it’s probably the area I know the least about. As much as old school goes I dig it, but I love a lot of more of the modern sounds coming out.

Maybe that’s because of the tech some of my favourite producers are sumgii, zygote, chemo Music -  frequencies play a huge part in health. Hearing certain sounds can make you feel a way you’ve never felt and hearing frequencies can make your mood lift. We’re really on 432hz...I’ve got my guitar tuned to it. Have a search up if you’re not familiar with it.

Why is music so important to you?

My bruddas Rye Shabby and Briti$h have always been in the movement. Me and Whispy’s orders. We used to go round Brits everyday and make music non stop. They’re the family. Through music I have made family.
